Linsha and Calvin’s wedding was a beautiful blend of traditional Chinese and modern Western elements. The ceremony took place at the Fair Oak Marriott in Virginia.
The bride, Linsha, looked stunning in a custom-made red qipao dress, a symbol of luck and prosperity in Chinese culture. She completed her look with delicate gold jewelry and a bouquet of red and white roses. Calvin, the groom, wore a classic black tuxedo and a boutonnière of red roses.
The ceremony was a mix of Chinese and Western traditions, with the couple exchanging vows and rings, as well as performing the traditional tea ceremony to honor their elders. The reception was held in the hotel’s grand ballroom, decorated with stunning floral arrangements and intricate lanterns.
Guests were treated to a delicious banquet of traditional Chinese dishes, as well as a selection of Western-style dishes. The couple’s first dance was a romantic waltz, followed by energetic performances by friends and family. The party went late into the night, with guests dancing and celebrating the newlyweds.
